Parallel programming and parallel software are extensive topics and our intent is to give you an overview of them; more in depth study is provided by the following chapters. Read Chapter 4 on pages 67 - This chapter discusses MP directives and presents a variety of examples. Read Chapter 5 on pages - Read Chapter 7 on pages - This chapter illustrates the message passing approach using various examples. The rest of the chapter illustrates this approach with various examples. Read Chapter 9 on pages - for an overview of cloud computing and the hadoop platform, which are interesting topics for today not just for parallel computing.
